KAUST Marine Science MSc program

The Reef Ecology lab is currently welcoming expressions of interest for students interested in MSc studies at KAUST. You are welcome to contact Prof. Berumen, but please note that to be fully considered, it will be necessary to complete an application for admission through the KAUST Admissions Office. If you are serious about applying to KAUST but do not hear from Prof. Berumen, please submit a full application prior to the published deadline and indicate in your application which area of research you are interested in. It is not required to have Prof. Berumen's approval to submit an application.

Ph.D. Student openings

Unfortunately, at this time, there is no funding for additional Ph.D. students in the lab. Potential Ph.D. students with external funding are welcome to contact Prof. Berumen.

Postdoctoral fellowships

Unfortunately, at this time, there is no funding for additional postdocs in the lab. Potential postdocs with external funding are welcome to contact Prof. Berumen.

Expressions of interest

All expressions of interest in a student or postdoctoral position should clearly outline areas of mutual research interest. Due to the volume of emails received, general inquiries which do not specify areas of research overlap may not be answered.

All student applicants should be aware that a final determination of suitability for admission to the marine science program cannot be made without receipt of a complete application via the KAUST Admissions website. It is therefore critical to complete an application before the deadline.
