After living in China and Taiwan for two years, Britta graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Chinese in summer 2019 and then worked as a project manager in international cooperation.

While volunteering in coral restoration and turtle conservation in Malaysia, Britta discovered her passion for the marine environment and realized the urgent need for conservation actions. After completing her Divemaster, she decided to change her career path and is now pursuing a master’s degree in Marine Science and Conservation at the Université Côte d’Azur in Nice, France.

At the Reef Ecology Lab, Britta will be involved in a range of different projects, mainly focused on megafauna studies and movement as well as reef fish ecology.
