Research Interests

Charlotte is a passionate conservationist and marine scientist with a keen interest in anthropogenic impacts on the marine environment. Charlotte holds a BSc (Hons) in Conservation Biology from The University of the West of England, Bristol and an MSc (Research) on carbon exchange in tropical coral reef system from the University of Glasgow.

Charlotte is a passionate science communicator who believes strongly in making science accessible to all. Charlotte enjoys utilising creative tools to raise awareness for environmental issues and conservation efforts. Her work thus far has led her to being named one of Glasgow University’s Future World Changers 2018/19.

In her spare time, Charlotte is a keen photographer who spends as much time as possible outdoors, traveling and by the sea. A passionate diver, Charlotte has had the pleasure of diving in many places around the world, taking part in scientific expeditions and through her work, become an Oceanographic Explorer.

She is joining the Berumen lab as a research intern and will be assisting current and established projects, both in the field and lab.
