With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Gareth went to KAUST to do something different, unique, and challenging. The facilities and faculty at KAUST gave him the opportunity to work on his tan, golf swing, and a state-of-the-art autonomous boat used to track whale sharks. The boat project continues to make great progress in the hands of some very capable people. However, since leaving KAUST, the progress on both Gareth's tan and golf swing has been disappointing.
